My New (Old) Kodak Zoom 8 Camera

Last weekend I went to a neighborhood-wide yard sale that they have in my city every year. 98% of the stuff there was complete crap, but there was a few really cool things. One of those cool things I found was this vintage Kodak 8mm camera from the 60's. There are no batteries or plug in, it is powered by winding a key on the side.
It came with it's own manual and everything!
Super retro picture from the manual

The only thing I need to do now is figure out where to find a projector so I could actually view the footage. I'm pretty excited about this because I'm a huge fan of the the way that 8mm film looks.

I'm pretty sure I have a few followers who are photography and tech buffs so I look forward to seeing your comments!

  3. The first thing that came to my mind was "I wonder how much this thing can sell for in today's market." Is that bad? -.- Looks very vintage and nice though. :D

Maybe you could find a projektor at ebay or so? Or even another yard sale, these places are always good to find stuff among of crap, you know :)

  10. @JustinCKO nope he didn't give it to me. I bought it for just $5!!

It was the very end of the day and everyone was packing up and he just wanted to get rid of it.

I also got a JBL home theatre 3 speaker set for just $10. I still need an amp tho....
